Smith & Gatlin Engagement Session

My creative ideas get stimulated when my clients add their ideas to what I already want to accomplish with them. One of their requests was to incorporate the Red River into their photos. So a couple of phone calls, some assistance from the local troop headquarters, a big one lane bridge and the Red River was part of this photo process. It is my passion to capture the love and emotion my clients have for each other. I love my job! Enjoy!

Okay, I am departing from just posting images from wedding related photo images. I just got back from an awesome trip to Southern California. I was able to spend several days and second shoot a wedding with, Joe Photo (my mentor & great friend) in San Diego.

We took a photo field trip with another awesome photographer. Becker, from Mission Viejo, CA. Just a side note, these two photographers have been really instrumental in my progress in photography and I am blessed the most by their friendship and generosity.

Our road trip took us to Julian, CA. A historic mining town about an hour east of San Diego. There we met and had lunch with another great photographer, John Mireles. He has an art gallery there that displays his Alternative Landscapes, cool work. It was a great trip and I am refreshed to go try some new ideas. I am so glad I am a photographer........Enjoy! Howell & Thornton Wedding

Another great wedding and itwas on St. Patrick's Day! The ceremony was at the Crossings Community Church and the reception was at the Meinders Hall of Mirrors. The couple saw each other in a private moment before the ceremony which allowed them to walk right out of the church and on to the reception. It was a great party afterwards! Enjoy!

She really was a natural and although, she got really cold due to the low temperature at our location she championed through like a professional. Tame'ra's Bridal Session

I had the privilege of photographing a bridal session on a military post two days ago. The concept behind this photo shoot is a surprise to the groom who is a West Point graduate, who has recently returned from Iraq. The vehicle shown here is a Bradley Fighting Vehicle which is the type of vehicle her fiancee commands. These images are going to be on display at the reception, so this a totally complete surprise so please don't let it out ;o).....
The Army was more than accommodating as well as the soldiers who assisted us with getting the vehicle ready. I photographed their engagement session last year just before he deployed to Iraq (which can be viewed earlier in the blog). This is an awesome couple, also I will be documenting their wedding in three weeks. Enjoy!

Album Design

Hey , I wanted to show you an album design I did for a client. These images are from the Slack & Deupree Wedding. I use Leather Craftsmen albums, these albums are handmade one at a time and their quality is over the top.

I have a more simplistic style of design so my images can have the most impact. This album is a 10x15 album with a red Euro leather cover. Enjoy!

Tame'ra & Daehwan Engagement Session

Okay this was a fun engagement session. Daehwan is a West Point graduate who is in Iraq defending the nation of Iraq as well as the U.S. of A. He was in on leave for a short period of time before being re-deployed. They are a great couple and I could see the love and passion for each other as I documented this short time together. Meagan & Trey's wedding was downtown at the old Farmer's Market. It is a cool venue! A very historic building with lots of character and major window light. Here are some images from Marty & Billy's wedding. The day of their wedding it rained and it rained hard all day. Their wedding was set for outdoors and under a tent. However, there must have been divine intervention, because about 2 hours before the wedding started the rain ended and the sky cleared to a beautiful evening! A fun day to be a photographer.
